I'm working on this project for months now, trying to get the Konami M2 arcade games to work on an FZ-35s. According to a member of the FreeDO team, it is possible. Well, everything I tried so far didn't work, so I had put the project on hold for a while. But now that I finally received an original copy of Polystars and Battly Tryst, I thought I give it another try...
So, I took the files from the game disc, the system.m2 files from an FZ-35s kiosk disc and compiled an iso image out of it using the 3DO M2 sdk. I was told that this is all you need to do to get the games working on the FZ-35s, but all I get is a black screen a few seconds after the unit started booting. My assumption is that the game must be patched, but I don't know where to start. Anyone else ever tried the same, with more success maybe?

Did anything ever come of this? I'd love to use my M2 kiosk system!

With lots of hacking, I got one of the arcade games to boot on the kiosk unit, but I haven't pursued it further, as I wasn't able to find the right version of IDA Pro. And after that, I sold my kiosk unit.
If I ever get hold of a kiosk unit again, I may give it another shot.

just been reading more on assembler ... looks like you've been able to boot the games from a kiosk unit? Is there any chance of getting hold of the games so I can finally use my kiosk unit?
cheers and good work fella!

It's not that easy. You need the games, a disassembler, the M2 SDK (3.1 or later, as the kiosk won't boot with older system files), and the knowledge to use that stuff. However, if you need something to play on your kiosk unit, look there: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21021
