Now you can edit your games! Translete, crate your games, modify original games, do money, do immortaly and so on.
Support decompilation from ISO,BIN/CUE,NRG,BIOS and isos can be compressed by gzip, and decompilation direct from CD-ROM support too.
On out after compilation you have ISO.
For working compilled ISOs need BIOS with disabled RSA verification. But some games may be unworking, for solve this problem you mast get some system and root files from working compilation and put its to unworking game. For example - Game Guru - work good, so you can get (kernel path and root files - BannerScreen, rom_tags and signatures) from it and replace analog files in not working games, may be some others system files would be need.

http://altmer.arts-union.ru/3DO/3do_utils.htm, sorry this site not in English, because I good know only one international language - Russian Smiley

 See - OperaFS[De]Compiller.

I found your page on Phoenix. http://altmer.arts-union.ru/3DO/Phoenix.htm

Is this available anywhere? The debugging interface looks really good.

Will this functionality be included in FreeDO?

Button "Собрать ISO" - compil ISO from path

CheckButton "Выгружать Disc label" - extract "Disc label" from Opera file system (recomendation: in the compilation process this file mast not exist in path)

May be, if this project will be finished. It's full name "FreeDO Project Phoenix".

How can I rebuild an iso from a directory?

I used decompil to create the PARCE_* directory, without Disk Label.
I select 'compil', and select the PARCE_* directory. It starts creating an iso, but the file size gets bigger until the program is terminated.

I am not sure, but may be problem in your OS, or some else... Take me more info about your system.

I'm using Windows XP Home and XP Pro SP2. Two of the computers are using standard Pentium 4 processors. The third is using a Core 2 Duo.

The problem happens if files are added into the PARCE_* directory. Does it use the .log file to rebuild iso?

I've also seen the problem when only the BannerScreen file was changed.

No I do not use .log file. May be I can help, if you say what you want to do in detals.
If you add files with non english symbols, may be error in programm...

Here is a translation of the program buttons I did using the translation by "max" and using the program XN Resource Editor

http://www.mediafire.com/?tm1vjze2mif

  • De-Compile w/ Radio Buttons: Choose either to extract the contents of a 3DO CD-Image or 3DO CD. choosing the CD option will bring out a pull down menu to select the CD-ROM drive letter that contains the 3DO CD. While the extract CD option will give the option to choose a directory where it will extract the files to a "PARCE_CD-ROM" directory,  Choosing to extract from a CD Image extracts files into the root directory where the CD-Image is contained inside a directory named "PARCE_*IMAGE NAME*".
  • Compile: Takes a directory with 3DO game files and compresses them into an OperaFS formatted CD Image.
  • Additional Resources: Gives you more detailed log files in the root of the extracted directory with the ".spy" extension
  • Extract "Disc Label": Extracts the header of the Image or CD and puts it in the root of the extracted directory

There that should do it  Grin

[Edited to provide more info and screenshot]

Could this program be converted to a console program? This would allow building an iso from a makefile.
